알래스카 리다웃 화산 5차례 폭발

2009년 3월 21일 알래스카의 리다웃 화산 분화구에서 증기가 뿜어져 나오고 있다. 이 사진은 알래스카 화산 관측소/미국 지질학 조사국이 제공. 이 화산은 2009년 3월 22일 밤부터 23일 새벽 사이에 다섯차례나 폭발, 화산재 기둥을 하늘로 14.4 km 이상이나 내뿜었다. 이 화산이 이처럼 화산재를 뿜어내기는 근 20년만에 처음이다(AP=연합뉴스).(hcs). (paulohan@naver.com).
